Art Walks in Downtown Bath

The season begins with the first Art Walk of the year! Join us for our "In the Making" events. This year we'll have an artist on each of the four Art Walk evenings demonstrating their creative process.

Our first evening on June 19th will feature Susan Mills. Many of you may know Susan as she is the gallery manager and very often working in the gallery. We think you'll be fascinated by the techniques she uses to form wet wool into sculptural forms.

Markings Gallery, located in Bath, Maine, is a vibrant art space that showcases a diverse range of artwork by talented artists from Maine. Opened in 2010, the gallery features an eclectic mix of art forms including metal, clay, fiber, paper, glass, paint, stone, and wood. With a focus on contemporary Maine artists and artisans, Markings Gallery offers a platform for both established and emerging talents to display their work. The gallery is run by a dedicated group of members who handle the day-to-day operations, and you will often have the opportunity to meet them while they work. Whether you are looking for individual pieces or themed group shows, Markings Gallery is sure to delight art enthusiasts with its ever-changing collection.
